Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to services supplied by AeroNorth Aviation Detailing (“AeroNorth”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to the person or organisation booking the service (“Client”, “you” or “your”).
By accepting a quotation, confirming a booking, paying a deposit or instructing us to begin work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

AeroNorth provides professional aircraft appearance and detailing services, which may include:
Exterior aircraft cleaning and detailing.
Interior aircraft cleaning and detailing.
Carpet and upholstery cleaning/extraction.
Leather cleaning and conditioning.
Window and transparency cleaning using appropriate approved methods.
Brightwork and metal polishing where agreed.
Paint cleaning, polishing and protection.
Cabin sanitisation and presentation.
Helicopter detailing.
Private jet and light-aircraft detailing.
FBO, operator and fleet detailing services.
Other services specifically agreed within a quotation.
Only the services expressly included within the accepted quotation or booking confirmation are included in the agreed price. es here

Unless stated otherwise, quotations are based on information supplied by the Client regarding the aircraft type, condition, location and work required.
A quotation may be revised if:
The aircraft's condition is materially different from that described.
Additional contamination, staining, oxidation, biological matter, fuel/oil residue or other unexpected conditions are discovered.
The aircraft is larger or requires more work than originally stated.
Additional services are requested.
Specialist products, equipment or additional access arrangements are required.
We will obtain approval before carrying out chargeable additional work wherever reasonably practicable.
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

A booking is confirmed when we issue confirmation after the Client accepts our quotation and, where required, pays the requested booking deposit.
Requested dates or times are not guaranteed until confirmation has been issued.

The person making the booking confirms that they are:
The aircraft owner; or
Authorised by the aircraft owner, operator, management company, FBO or other responsible organisation to instruct us to work on the aircraft.
The Client is responsible for obtaining any permissions required for AeroNorth to access and work on the aircraft.

The Client must ensure that:
The aircraft is available at the agreed time.
Required airport, hangar, apron or FBO permissions have been arranged.
We are informed of relevant access and security procedures.
Any required escorts or airside arrangements are available.
The aircraft is positioned in a suitable and permitted location for the work.
We are informed of relevant aircraft-specific restrictions or precautions.
Additional costs caused by unexpected access restrictions or Client delays may be chargeable.

Safety takes priority over completion of any detailing service.
AeroNorth will comply with applicable site, airport, hangar, FBO and operator safety requirements communicated to us.
We reserve the right to stop or refuse work where we reasonably consider conditions unsafe, including because of:
Aircraft movements.
Fuel operations.
Ground equipment.
Severe weather.
Electrical hazards.
Unsafe access.
Uncontrolled airside activity.
Hazardous substances.
Instructions conflicting with safe working practices.

AeroNorth provides cleaning and detailing services only.
We will not operate, dismantle, adjust, repair or maintain aircraft mechanical, electrical, avionics, flight-control or safety-critical systems.
Our services do not constitute aircraft maintenance, engineering, inspection, certification or an airworthiness determination.
The aircraft owner/operator remains responsible for confirming the aircraft is safe, secure and airworthy following detailing and before operation.

Where reasonably practicable, significant visible defects may be recorded before work begins.
These can include:
Scratches.
Chips.
Cracks.
Paint deterioration.
Corrosion.
Oxidation.
Loose trim.
Damaged seals.
Worn leather.
Torn fabrics.
Damaged carpets.
Previously repaired surfaces.
Delaminating or deteriorated coatings.
AeroNorth is not responsible for damage or deterioration that existed before our work began.
Certain defects may become more visible after contaminants, dirt or oxidation are removed.

Aircraft surfaces, finishes and components can vary considerably by age, condition, previous maintenance and previous chemical exposure.
Where we believe a surface may be unusually sensitive, we may:
Conduct a small test area.
Recommend a reduced level of correction.
Decline a particular treatment.
Request further information or approval before proceeding.
We will exercise reasonable care and skill when carrying out our services.

We aim to achieve the best reasonable result for the condition of the aircraft.
We cannot guarantee complete removal of every:
Stain.
Scratch.
Etching mark.
Oxidation defect.
Odour.
Water mark.
Paint defect.
Carpet or upholstery mark.
Permanent defects, previous damage and deterioration may require repair, repainting, replacement or specialist aviation maintenance beyond the scope of detailing.

Clients should remove cash, personal valuables, confidential documents and fragile items before interior detailing begins.
Where this is not possible, the Client should inform AeroNorth before work starts.

AeroNorth will use professional products, tools and methods selected for the relevant task and aircraft surface.
Where an aircraft manufacturer, operator or owner requires particular products or restrictions to be followed, these requirements must be supplied to us before work starts.
AeroNorth may refuse to use a Client-supplied chemical or product where we reasonably believe its use could be unsafe, inappropriate or contrary to product or site requirements.

We may take photographs before, during or after work for:
Condition documentation.
Quality assurance.
Damage records.
Insurance or dispute resolution.
Images identifying the aircraft will not be used for public marketing where specific Client consent is required unless that consent has been obtained.
Where appropriate, registration marks, identifiable Client information or other sensitive details may be obscured.

We recognise that private and business aviation can involve commercially or personally sensitive information.
Information encountered while working on an aircraft will be treated confidentially and will not knowingly be disclosed except where:
Necessary to provide the service.
Required by law.
Required for insurance or legal purposes.
Authorised by the Client.

Prices will be confirmed in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are based on the aircraft and service described when the quotation was prepared.
Any applicable VAT will be clearly stated where AeroNorth is required to charge VAT.

A booking deposit is required to reserve a date, particularly for larger, specialist, fleet or travel-dependent work.
The amount will be shown before the booking is confirmed.
Any treatment of deposits following cancellation will be governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated on the quotation or invoice, payment is due on completion of the service.
Approved commercial, FBO, operator or fleet Clients may be offered separate invoice terms in writing.
AeroNorth may require cleared payment before releasing specialist items or completing further booked services where an invoice is overdue.

Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to our separate Booking & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing within our cancellation terms affects statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Aircraft detailing can be affected by rain, wind, temperature, frost, humidity and other environmental conditions.
Where conditions would prevent work from being completed safely or to an acceptable standard, AeroNorth may postpone or reschedule the service.
We will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative date.

We recognise that aircraft schedules can change at short notice because of operational requirements.
Where an aircraft becomes unavailable because of flight operations, maintenance, airport restrictions or other circumstances, we will endeavour to reschedule the booking.
Charges may apply where significant costs have already reasonably been incurred, including travel, materials, airport charges or lost working time.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to this, AeroNorth will not be responsible for loss or damage caused by:
Pre-existing defects.
Deteriorated materials or coatings.
Undisclosed damage.
Defective repairs.
Loose or improperly fitted components.
Manufacturer defects.
Failure by the Client to provide relevant instructions or warnings.
Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where AeroNorth causes direct physical damage through a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill, the matter should be reported promptly so it can be investigated and, where appropriate, referred to our insurer.
AeroNorth will not undertake aircraft engineering or maintenance repairs.

The Client should inspect the completed work as soon as reasonably practicable.
Any concern should be reported promptly with reasonable details and, where possible, photographs.
Where a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, AeroNorth will consider an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

We want concerns resolved quickly and professionally.

We will investigate and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.

AeroNorth will not be responsible for delay or inability to perform caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, airport closure, security restrictions, aircraft unavailability, industrial action, road disruption, equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, government restrictions or emergency situations.
We will endeavour to reschedule affected work where reasonably possible.

Personal information is processed in accordance with the AeroNorth Aviation Detailing Privacy Policy.

AeroNorth may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applying to an existing confirmed booking will normally be those supplied or available when that booking was made, unless a change is required by law or separately agreed.

By confirming a booking with AeroNorth Aviation Detailing, you acknowledge that you have been given access to these terms and conditions and agree to it, subject to any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
